The prices are expensive but the food is pretty good. I liked the cheese dip the most. There patio is cute.

As a chef myself, not some Martha Stewart wannabe chef, this place is great. I split seven tacos with my brother, two margaritas, and a guac and chips. It was amazing and I can’t wait to come back. To those saying it’s bland, did you only eat the paper bag the chips came in? To those complaining about size, you clearly don’t understand food cost and mark up on properly flavored food. The tacos are more than enough and sized perfectly to get a few and experience the variety of flavors. El Traviseo, keep doing what you’re doing. I love it.

Hands down one of the best casual Mexican restaurants I have ever been too (and we frequent a lot of them all over!) Prices are great, food is amazing. Everything is extremely flavorful- lots of depth here. So good in fact, I have a hard time choosing what to order! It's on our weekly rotation and I recommend it to anyone in the area who is looking for Mexican! To the lady below who said it was bland and was cut up hot dogs and mush-- I am pretty sure you are confused and writing about another place. There are no hot dogs at El Travieso!

Wow!! Best food I’ve had in awhile and am so excited this has opened up so close to us! The man who took our order and served us was incredibly kind and efficient, we will definitely be back!

Tasted good and everything seemed fresh and it was fairly quick. Good place for a quick bite. Wish they had some "taco Tuesday" deals though.

We WANT to love this neighborhood place. Location is wonderfully walkable. Interior is fun and the patio is perfect. Handmade tortillas, chips and guacamole all excellent. But after 6 visits, we have found nothing to like on the menu. Chicken is dry. Vegetarian entrees (while we appreciate the nod) are numerous but pair awkward flavors. One dish throws together bacon, hot dog slices and iceberg lettuce with a theater of other meat and mush. Consider: A couple great entrees can sometimes be better than the many. We believe this little spot can and will find its niche. But not yet!

Second time here and I had forgotten how amazing the food is here! If you haven't been, you need to go. Sure, maybe $7 for an Inquieto Taco Arabes seems like a lot, but it isn't. They are that good. And where I get 3 street tacos at most placed, I only need two of these. Although I wish my belly was big enough to eat 5 they are THAT GOOD! Plus, they have a solid patio and decent beer to help enjoy the meal.
